Clinically Proven Natural Cures and Home Remedies for Pink Eye
There are several home remedies for pink eye that are available at most health food stores, but pink eye and styes are usually caused by bacteria getting into the eye. They are more common when there are small children in the household. In these households, it is very important to keep surfaces as germ free as possible. All Natural DisenfectantsTea Tree oil has antibacterial properties and is good for killing mildew and mold as well as bacteria. 
1/2 tsp. tea tree oil 2 cups water Here's another one: 1/2 tsp. tea tree oil 2 tbsp. baking soda 1 tbsp. borax 
Here's one more: 3 tbsp. witch hazel Large spray bottle 18 drops lemon essential oil 7 drops clove essential oil 4 oz. distilled water 10 drops thyme essential oil Spray on, then wipe off. great for counters sinks etc.

If you don't have time to make your own, you can add 1 oz. tea tree oil to any natural spray cleaner from the health food store. Always try to address the cause of the problem. In the case of pink eye, it's important to disinfect the environment as much as possible. They are all exceptionally effective, almost always providing immediate relief.
